Around the lodge

These are the stops our guided days pass through.

Boats crowded together at the floating market.
Boats crowded together at the floating market.
The floating market
Visit floating market early in the morning at 5:30am: you will see the daily lives of people floating on the river every morning.
The Xà No canal, the “Rice Road”
Cruise along the largest canal system in the Mekong Delta, machine-dug during the French colonial era back in 1907.
Rice mills and the wine workshop
Continue past active rice milling factories to see how paddy husks are removed to produce clean white rice. On the way back, stop at the home of Ms. Hanh, a master brewer.
The goat family farm
Visit the home of the local woman who owns the largest goat herd in the Mekong Delta, certified with provincial VietGAHP organic livestock standards.
The forest reserve by boat
Here, you will be able to move through the paths of the reserve, to see the flora and fauna ecosystem in this place by boat.
Bamboo and coconut weaving
Cruise down to the home of local artisans dedicated to making a living through traditional bamboo and coconut weaving.
Monkey bridges and Uncle 5’s garden
Take photos with lush rows of water coconut palms and wooden monkey bridges (cầu khỉ). Stop by Uncle 5’s garden to harvest fresh fruits for your lunch dessert.
The brick-kiln village
This land is still maintaining long-standing craft villages, one of which is the brick and tofu making village.
Cham and Khmer culture
A trip to explore the culture of the Cham and Khmer ethnic minorities through traditional craft villages and massive architectural works.
The early village market
Visit the most “neat” market in the Southwest. It is also a local market, but this place will overwhelm you with its vastness.
Within ten kilometres
At a distance of 10km from our homestay, you can visit a lot of different places: orchards, a family restaurant making banh hoi with a history of 30 years, and the Truc Lam Phuong Nam zen Monastery.
