Forget reading menus in the Mekong Delta. Here, you forage your dinner by boat and learn to cook it from the local guys.

In our village, “Farm-to-Table” isn’t a marketing trend—it’s an organic, unhurried journey connecting you with the land, the river, and our local team.

Here is how a real afternoon unfolds with us in Can Tho:

  • Foraging by Small Boat & Garden Harvesting: Board a small wooden boat to glide through narrow village canals, stopping by a neighbor’s garden to pick fresh wild herbs. Back at the Lodge, gather more organic vegetables and drop a line to catch fish directly from our natural pond—all lovingly grown and cared for organically by our local brothers.
  • A Warm Cultural Twist in the Kitchen: In traditional rural Vietnamese homes, home cooking is usually passed down through the women. But here at the Lodge, our local brothers are the ones keeping the kitchen fires burning! They’ll guide you through the recipes with genuine warmth, local humor, and pride in their heritage.
  • Authentic Local Dishes You’ll Cook:
  • Gỏi Tam Hoa: A vibrant three-flower salad using fresh, edible blossoms picked right from the garden (banana blossom, yellow sesbania, and tonkin jasmine).
  • Canh Rau Tập Tàng: A comforting, clear herb soup made from a medley of freshly harvested garden greens.
  • Cá Kho Tộ: Claypot caramelized fish simmered in our signature house sauce—a rich, savory-sweet flavor that guests often tell us is unlike anything else in Vietnam.

After cooking together, sit down under the open sky to enjoy a feast created entirely by your own hands.
